Gono Bishwabidyalay (GB) is a private university in Dhaka. It was established in 1998. Professor Dr. Md. Abul Hossain is its Vice-Chancellor.
Gono Bishwabidyalay was set up at Savar by the Gonoshasthaya Kendra Public Charitable Trust on 14 July 1998, continuing the work of the health and development organisation founded during the 1971 Liberation War. It teaches health sciences, science and engineering, arts and social sciences, agriculture and veterinary subjects at low cost on a semester system.
