Before you apply
University of Creative Technology Chittagong appears in this directory because it operates in Bangladesh. It is not ranked, recommended or endorsed by Fair Convener. These are the checks worth doing for any university here.
Is the programme UGC-approved?
Approval is per programme, not just per university. Check the UGC list for the exact degree you want, not the institution name alone.
What is the total cost to graduation, not the per-credit fee?
Ask for credits x per-credit fee, plus admission, lab, library, exam and convocation charges, as one written number.
Is the waiver for the first semester or for the whole degree?
Many waivers are conditional on holding a CGPA each semester. Get the condition in writing.
Does the campus match what the UGC lists?
Some institutions still operate from temporary campuses. Confirm the address you will actually attend.
Will the degree be accepted where you plan to go next?
If you intend to do a master’s abroad or sit a professional exam, check recognition before you enrol, not after.
