Before you sign with any agency
Being an exhibitor at the expo means Education Connect took a stall and met students in person. It is not an endorsement by Fair Convener, and it is not a substitute for your own checks. These are the questions worth asking — of them, and of anyone else you are considering.
Which universities are they actually authorised to represent?
Ask to see the representation agreement for the specific university you want. An agent can apply to almost anywhere; being an official partner is a narrower and more useful claim.
What exactly is included in the fee, and what is billed later?
Get the full list in writing before you pay anything — application fees, courier, attestation, translation and any success fee.
Who handles the file after you sign?
The counsellor who sells you the service is often not the one who prepares the application. Ask for the name of the person who will actually handle it.
What happens to your money if the visa is refused?
Refund terms vary a lot. Ask for the policy in writing, not a verbal assurance.
Can they show recent, verifiable outcomes for your destination?
Offer letters and visa grants for the country you are targeting, from the last year or two.
